Did it once. Kinda noisy due to the truckers firing up or just letting their engines run.

Stayed overnight at a Pilot Flying J but parked as far away from the trucks I could while still being relatively close (safety).

All in all, I'd stay at either again but only as a last resort.

I have twice. I will never do it again. Very very noisy. The trucks weren't that bad, it was the refer units on the trailers that were loud. Now we just stop at a Walmart or a Casino.

I have done TA and Flying J, I just parked away from the trucks. At the ones I frequent there is a separate lot for RVs, it is away from the trucks. The only thing they asked is if it is for more than one night not to use the RV space, they said they like to keep them open during the day for travelers to park and go. Usually Im just passing through so that's not a problem. Both of them had the RV spots out front so safety wasn't an issue (also sam colt is a good friend of mine when it comes to truck/rest stop safety) and it wasn't as noisy. I would do either again, and in fact I will be here is 2 weeks when I trek to Colorado.

Walmarts are also good. What are your reservation in doing so? Or just curious?
