Hey there,

There is lots to see and do in Toronto. Are you looking to camp around Toronto or is this just a day trip for you?

Some suggestions ...
CN Tower is always a highlight
Royal Ontario Museum is excellent to visit
Ontario Place
Toronto zoo
Science Centre
Sky dome (now known as Roger's Centre) for baseball
Black Creek Pioneer Village
Canada's Wonderland is just north of Toronto (amusement park)

I'm sure you'll find something to do, eh

Try googling 'Toronto things to do' and you'll have lots of ideas.

There's lots to do in TO. Like Dave_Monica said, I would google Toronto tourism. Are you going soon or will it be a summer visit? I think there is a little more to do in the summer.

I would suggest Medieval Times and the CN Tower. Probably our 2 favorite places we have been in Toronto.

Niagara falls! at night its nice to see to cause of the light show. Marine land is near there to. Also some wax museum there that i forget the name of..

If you want to camp in TO the Glen Rouge CG on the east end of the city is not a bad place to stay. It is very close to the Toronto Zoo. What type of entertainment are you looking for?

Tell you what, I'll meet you in Toronto if you wear an eye patch and walk around saying "AYE". We'll see how you make out with your swashbuckling!! LOL!!

You should take some time to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake. Lots to see.

It really depends on what you are looking to do and what your interests are. The ZOO is awesome. For camping you are very limited. Glen Rouge on the east end is a bit of a drive. Bronte Creek Provincial Park is likely a better choice.

I'll 2nd the nomination for Glenn Rouge campground. Great little spot, no-one really knows about it or can find it .. nice spot, just off the mains.
Toronto has a fine theatre district, some very nice open air markets and of course all the must sees like the CN tower and such.
You might as well push to see Niagra Falls, but that can be done in a day. Basically its a tourist trap. You can push north of Toronto and visit and stay in Algonquin park, (reserve early) to fish for trout and listen to the wolf howls at night and watch for moose ... this isa very special park... biggest in Ontario.
Then wander your way up to my area, which is Canadas Capital, Ottawa. Very beautiful city with strong attributes.
Strong suggestions would be to venture into Quebec, and stay in and about Quebec City for a few days, excellent culture, great food, lovely scenery and lots of history ... i have no liguistic challenges in Quebec at all ... and i only speak english

While you are in Toronto you can drive 5 more hours east and end up at Upper Canada Village. You will never forget this extra trip and the campgrounds along the st Laurence seaway are the nicest in the word.

If you do go to Upper Canada Village stay way from Upper Canada Campground. I would stay at the KOA in Ottawa South or one of the Parks of the St. Lawrence CG. Riverside Cedar is a nice park as well as the Long Sault Parkway were you will find several different CG. You could also stay near the Ivy Lea bridge and take a boat trip trough the 1000 islands. The Rideau Canel which is an UNESCO world heritage site. There is so much to do in Ontario it would be hard to see and do it all in one trip.

Noticed you are coming from ORO Valley, AZ. If you care to venture about an hour north of Toronto....we are not far from ORO-Medonte Township in Orillia Ontario. (We liked the similarity in the names). Look us up and email to drop by...we are not far from Mara Provincial Park. And, the proper term is Eh...which I can see didn't take long for you to catch on... LOL Cheers!

P.S. you won't have enough vacation time to see it all....We absolutely love Northern Ontario; having spent 25 years there....we are talking north of Algonquin Park....there's nothing like it!!!!
