Traverse Bay RV Resort

For a couple of days next mid week we will be visiting old friends in Traverse
City, and have made reservations at the Traverse Bay RV Resort. This will be our first outing in our 2015 Wildcat 282RKX which is our first RV of any kind.

Thought a warm up trip should be under our belts before we tackle the Super Bowl of RV events at Goshen in August.

Anyone have any thoughts on our choice of parks to stay at or anything that might be of help to newbees. Have been driveway camping for 4 weeks but I'm sure we will find we have forgotten a lot of necessary things for the trip.

I was a semi-truck driver for over twenty years but I thought an RV park with valet parking if needed must be pretty nice.

Will give a report when we return toward the end of next week.

Traverse City area is a great place to visit with an RV. Depending where your friends live I have to recommend Boone's on west side for dinner and Grand TC Resort restaurant near your destination for their brunches if they have one when you. Anything you leave behind can be picked up in TC all the major retailers are there.
I'm not familiar with Resort you are at, web site seems to preclude TT's. It will be just like riding a bicycle when you back your 5th wheel in. Have a good trip.
