Treasure Beach campground, DE

Anyone have experience or comments regarding Treasure Beach campground in Selbyville, Delaware?

Their literature indicates 1,000 sites but looking at a satellite image there appears to be houses there, not RV sites.

Just saw them in Timonium rv show today. They said they have about 700 of the 1000 sites as seasonal. We look like we will be making a visit come September

We picked up their info last weekend at the show and my wife was looking at it today.

Still, the satellit image I saw shows houses there.

My wife saw a Grand Design Reflection FW there that we both really liked at first look. Someday we will take a better look.

Yeah beautiful fw for sure.

700 seasonals are still a lot, on an after thought.. When we checked them out today, I think their map shows the seasonal sites and the available to camp sites right on it.

Good. One large building of rvs and two smaller buildings with more rvs. Free parking.

Treasure Beach RV Park and Campground

what you are seeing in google maps Overview is all RVs... not houses...

but many of the RVs may be under roof now, have been parked next to a porch, or have been 'permanently' installed with a roof, porch, deck, etc... which many RV parks allow who have 'permanent' residents. If you zoom in, most all of the units while show their air conditioner units on top of the RV, which is the giveaway ...

most of the 'overnight' RV sites are near the front, close to the pool and kids play places...

We stayed there a few years back. The price was decent and they had availability. They actually put me across 2 sites and parking was a little weird because of it.

It's a lot of permanent setups. I feel like there were a mix of RVs and park models - some with porches and skirting and some without.

The place felt packed. I was not towards the front.

I'd go back, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

If you go, you absolutely must go to Mancini's Brick Oven Pizzeria in Fenwick Island, DE. Some of the best food we've ever had and hands-down, the best brick oven pizza I've ever had.

Funny enough that was where I was camped when we turned the corner and a man was peeing in the road... Pants and all down around the ankles...

Friends just asked us to go to Frontier Town in August but at $102 a night even mid week I don't see that happening. That area is getting overpriced for us.

If you don't mind state parks Pokomoke River state park is very nice. Only 30 min south of OC. No full hookups but you do have electric. I stay there every year for bike week. The bath house on deer run loop are exceptional.

I stayed there last year from Wednesday to Sunday for $134.20. 1/3 of the price of frontier town and your not on top of each other.
