Trip to Washington DC Area

This year for our Spring Break trip we have decided to change it up. We usually go to the beach, but going to do something a little different. We are most likely staying at Cherry Hill Park in College Park MD. It is supposed to be the closest CG to the city.

We are probably staying for 5 nights, take a few trips into the city to see all, and 1 or 2 day trips to places nearby. Has anyone stayed at this park before? Looking for some opinions before I book our sites. This will be the first big trip for us in the new TT.

Nathan

Yes we have, Stayed there last July4 and loved the campground. You can catch the Metro bus to get to the station right from the campground but we found it easier to drive. Only like a 5 min drive. The pool is great. We were right across from the pool. There is also a grocery store right up the road.
Happy Camping!!!!

PS are you (Frogs)? Did your dealer tell you about FROG? You would be hard pressed to find a better deal than the (Frog Cherry Rally)! Youroo!!

I am planning on joining. Unfortunately we have to go when schools are out for spring break. Too bad we can't make the rally.

We are headed there for spring break also. We are choosing Duncan Family campground instead. We hear Cherry Hill has interstate noise and it will be too cold for the pool anyway.

If you're going that far out, Bull Run Regional Park in Manassas, VA is really nice. It'd be a short drive to the metro to get into the city by train.
