Up the Creek in Pigeon Forge

Anyone camp there? Opinions? We are planning on spending a few days there over/around Father's Day. Also DH's birthday.

Hope to hear some good reviews, it looks like a nice campground. We'll be there June 18-19. Heading to Tybee Island, GA after that. Happy travels!

I just realized that "Up The Creek" was an actual campground name. My apologies for misunderstanding.

We camped there 4th July last year, nice, small, quiet campground. Nice owners, very clean! I would always come back to this one.

Stayed there in May, nice campground sites are a bit tight as far as getting unit with slides positioned, it is also a bit too far out and for that reason I won't go back.

Say hi to my son when you get to Tybee.

and you can't be UP the creek at Pigeon Forge. That's WAY down the creek!

Seriously, passed there many times and thought of checking out the camping. I'll read these reviews intently.

Thanks.

Up the Creek is extremely quiet this weekend, maybe it's always like that? Plenty of campers but no loud obnoxious ones. We're creek side and really like the sites here. Nothing to do at the campground but you're only a few minutes from (crowded) Pigeon Forge.

We actually leave Friday morning for Sevierville, TN and are staying at the River Plantation RV Resort just up the road from Pigeon Forge....

Has anyone come across any great family activities to do in the area, and ones to avoid. We will be there a week and plan on hitting the National Park for hiking on several of those days!

Cheers!

Comedy Barn is good family fun. Also Dixie Stampede. And go out to Cades Cove and do the loop where you will see a lot of wildlife. There is so much to do around Pigeon Forge that it can't be listed here. We've been going for years and do something different each year. KOA is a good campground there.

Avoid the "ATV ride through the mountains". It's actually through a field and up the side of a hill.
The Go Karts were pretty entertaining for us.

We were there last year and enjoyed it. Had one on the creek as well. Just listened to the water going over the rocks and watched the fish.
