Va. Beach KOA this weekend

Hitting the road Friday for Va Beach KOA for 4 days. Probably the last trip for us this season.
Anyone else planning on going there for the weekend?

Va Beach

Heading to VA Beach next weekend, but will be going to First Landing State Park for 3 nights, then maybe to Outer Banks for the rest of the week. Have a great trip.

I haven't camped in Virginia Beach yet, but we were supposed to move there a few years ago but it fell through. The people are terrific and Sandbridge beaches are great of you want to stay away from the tourist stuff. The hike and bike trail in Northern Va Beach is very nice and there is an airplane museum on route 615 if you're into that.
We were in a restaurant when we were looking for houses there and the waitress noticed our house brochures. She told us she lived there her entire life and would answer questions about the area. By the end of dinner, the entire crowd in the restaurant was talking to us and helping us. The staff brought ice cream to my kids for free.
Have a safe trip and enjoy!
