Water tank fill up

We are planning our trip from Ontario to Kentucky Speedway for the NASCAR weekend in July. We will be crossing at Buffalo and making our way to Cleveland and then down I 71. I don’t want to travel with a full water tank so I am looking for somewhere along I 71 near the speedway/Cincinnati area where we can stop and fill up. Anybody have any recommendations?

When we stay at Chicagoland Speedway for the races they have a water truck come by and fill you up for a fee. Maybe call and see if they offer it at Kentucky.

We have been to every Kentucky NASCAR race except one. They have truck that will come around and dump your tanks and fill you up with water. I don't remember exactly but it was like $20 to fill freshwater and like $30 to dump gray and black tanks.

They have some water spigots at both the Pilot and TA truckstops at I-71, Richwood rd exit on their fuel lanes.

Fresh Water

I often fill up with fuel at the last Wal-Mart before my destination. If I need water I ask if I can fill up my tank they have never said no.

I hope the fresh water comes from a separate tank.

There is a Flying J one exit south of I-71 & I-75 in northern Kentucky. Walton, KY. They should have water. You’ll be turning on south I-71 at that intersection anyway.

If you’re camping at a track owned CG then there should be water available there. All the other Smith owned tracks have it. Give the track a call for info.

Thanks for the info. The tracks web site says it’s $30 to fill the tank. That’s about $39 Canadian. Will try the truck stops.
