Waterfront (lake preferably) RV Sites

My wife and I are planning this year's trips and we love staying water front on lakes. By water front, I mean the site is directly on the water, so I can push my kayak out in the am and enjoy the calmness. We found 1 such place so far in PA where it's truly water front - Keen Lake. Any other suggestions in the northeast? We live in PA, but we are willing to go up to Maine, and down as far as Virginia (6 hours away is my preference). Let me know if anyone has any good recommendations.

You can check out Four Mile Creek campground not to far from Niagara Falls, it's right on the lake, just water/electric

PM me, I might have some suggestions, but not sure what accommodations you need, (i.e. are elec. a must), etc.

Kerr lake in northern NC is nice. The pics below were from our stay. Our site was huge and we had direct beach access. DD loved playing in the sand at the bottom of the site. The roads are a little tight for larger rigs but we did barely get our 40' fiver in and out.

There is also Jordan lake near Raleigh but that's probably too far for ya.

Not sure if you need a full hookup site but I would suggest any of the Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds. They are built on bodies of water and offer some great waterfront sites.

Otter Lake Campground is near the Poconos in Pa. Very nice campground with an indoor pool. Many sites where you could keep your kayak right near the water. One of the better campgrounds in the area.

It's a bit of a trek for you but Lake Philpott, Goose Point campground, in Southern Virginia is nice. We Kayak too and you can launch from there.
