Weekend get aways

Hello New to camping. Just bought our camper in oct 2016. We live in southern VT. looking for places to get away for weekend or three day weekend.

Apple Island Resort in Hero on Champlain(Fourth of July celebration really neat),Gold Brook between waterbury and stowe, Ellmore SP above Stowe,Sugar Ridge near Danville,Wilgas SP, Fransted CG above Franconia Notch, Cannon Mtn SP, Ellacoya SP,Wild Duck(Adult, tight but quiet), Baileys Resort both Scarborough ME,Shore Hills Boothbay and any place in Acadia. All favorites for a weekend or a week.

Cant go wrong with any of the VT state parks... Lake Bomoseen, Half Moon, Lake Dunmore, Emerald Lake, Lake St Catherine...

Cross to NY to Lake George Area... Ticonderoga...

Winhall Brook in South Londonderry it's an Army Corps campground with both electric and non electric sites beautiful location cleanest bathrooms ever you won't be disappointed especially early season.

Nice! Then you already know about Winhall we like it because it's close and easy for a last minute get away, the state parks are iffy if your camper is larger than say 26 ft Harwood Pond is also nice but again no electric hook ups
