West Florida to East Ohio

Anyone have travel tips?.... The wife and I are planning a trip to OH from north of Tampa. Any good tips on 1-2 nite camping sites along the way? Best route to take? Going from Weeki Wachee Florida to Lisbon OH.

I think I'd suffer going through/past Altanta in order to go to Mammoth Caves in Kentucky.

In Atlanta, seeing Stone Mountain is a nice campground and neat site. Going to the top of the rock by way of the sky tram was a thrill and the top just felt alien.

Then you can stop again in Cincinnati. Winton Woods Campground is very nice and right downtown. They have an amazing Underground Railroad Museum there. Plus maybe take in a ballgame. I went to one many years ago up in the nose bleed seats, but we had a good time.

Hope that helps.

If taking I-75, stop at Twin Oaks RV Park & Campground - Elko, GA - RV Park Reviews - for one or two nights. Nice place with wonderful staff
