Made all the reservations while on Spring Break in March, most of the CG were not open for the season but were almost completely booked. Will be at Yellowstone Grizzly June 29-July 2 and Spring Creek CG in Big Timber, MT July 3-6. Safe Travels to all.

Since we're retired and no longer tied to school breaks and limited vacation time, we don't go out between the end of school in June and the return to school after Labor Day. Our trips are usually in May and early June and again in September and early October.

We live in a a town with a resident population of just under 20,000 and in an area (the San Juan Islands of Washington State) where people come on vacation from all over the world. We can sit by and watch while all the folks with commitments and schedules clog up the roads and the ferries and the campgrounds between the middle of June and the tail end of August.

Our house is on the cheaper side of the street - those opposite are on a saltwater marina waterfront and worth about half a mil more than ours, but we have access on a daily basis to the neighborhood waterfront parks and a bigger city park with a 2.3 mile paved walking trail with views over Guemes Channel and the closer islands.

Tough duty! Wouldn't swap it for the world.

we will be in disney at fort wilderness for a week in aug.

camping buddy's- we loved pirateland. Avoid an inland site if you can, they are tight and you have to maneuver around trees. the other sites are better. We loved the lazy river, dd loved the kiddie pool (although it was a cold pool), mini golf and paddle boating were fun too.

Memorial day weekend, the DW and I spent 6 days in Lake George NY...During that trip, we traded in our 2009 Flagstaff 831FKBSS for a new Columbus 320rs! We will probably go back to Lake George RV park for the 4th and then a 2 week trip to Cape Cod. We always spend the rest of the weekends (Friday thru Monday) from mid-August thru Columbus day weekend back at Lake George RV park. Can't wait for our first trip in the new 5th wheel!
