I have camped at Blairs Jungle Den at Astor Park on ths St. Johns river. It is on the river about 2 miles south of Lake George. Astor Park is on Hyw 40 between Ocala and Daytona Beach. It been a while back but there were a number of places there.

Have camped in Flamingo (Everglades National Park) There are no hookups but you are feet away from some of the best fishing in FL either from the shore or boat (rental or charter).
Tarpon give a good fight!

Just about everywhere in Florida meets your requirements. It's more of an issue on where to camp than where to fish. You also have to determine if you want to fish salt or fresh water. Good luck and tight lines.

I was just at Emerald Beach Campground at Navarre Beach, Fl. My site backed right up to the water on the intercoastal. The managers there are very friendly and attentive. Very clean and well run facility. They have a new dock there and overheard some snowbirds who stay there for the fishing. One fella has a one man float with a trolling motor tied up to the doc. In the AM he would putter out to the channel marker, anchor off and sit..not sure what he was catching. About 1m away is the causway over to the barrier island with long stretches of natural beach preserve. Saw numerous surf casters there. Destin is 20m East and I wandered the pier marveling at the # of deep sea outfitters. Every party is saw coming in that afteroon had thier wells full of fish.

We just got back today from Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral. It's right on the water, and there's a loooooong fishing pier where people were catching fish like crazy. As an added bonus, you can watch the cruise ships go in and out of port daily.

Almost all of Florida's State Parks have access to excellent fishing, and Sebastian Inlet State Park is no exception. Highly recommend. Also consider another little-known county park less than a mile away from the inlet, Long Point Park. Almost every campsite at Long Point is on the water. Details on both parks here.

If you have military base privileges..Mayport Naval base...RV park is right on the ocean...so is Patrick AFB near Cocoa Beach. Also Tomoka State Park in Ormond Beach, Ditto on Sebastian and LongPoint, we live close by to both of those and often go to the diner at LongPoint for breakfast.
Anastatia State park is also great in St Augustine...

I LOVE Tomoka State Park (Ormond Beach, just north of Daytona). Great campground, the sites are nicely separated with heavy veg, and you can fish in salt, brackish and fresh water for fishing. Great kayaking, grass prairies, and the best fishing is from shore. Lots of shore. Definitely worth a visit, except around Bike Week and Speed Weeks in nearby Daytona.

Stay at any parks near the ocean? We are planning to go sometime in March. I would love to hear of any place near the gulf side? Thanks.

I just stayed at Richardson's fish camp in Kissimmee on lake Toho. If you like fishing, have a boat. This place is really cool. They have docks to hold your boat and fish off of for crappie blue gill and bass. A fish cleaning station. The price is cheap 24.50 a night. Restrooms a shower house. Hook ups. I had a fun time. Now time to find another camp to fish at. Keep posting the places. :-)
