Memorial Day

We'll be on Rattlesnake Key (Long Key) at Long Key State Park in the wonderful Florida Keys ... 12 days of sun, ocean, kayaking, fishing, and mojitos. All this, of course, after some somber reflection in tribute to those who have fallen in sacrifice for our nation...hail to them all, and we remain forever in their debt.

X2, our 2nd outing (1st from home) will be the Nashville rally/Lonoke, AR. 2nd will be going to FL in late Nov.

Same place we camp every other weekend of the year.

Although I'm hoping we get a pretty good crowd this year. The number of weekend campers coming into our CG has gone down the past few years. After a few years of ownership trouble and not being taken care of properly, it's finally started to get back on track again. When we first started camping there, holiday weekends had to be booked months in advance.

Although Saturday night we won't technically be camping. Wife will be at a concert and I'll be at a minor-league baseball game.

My husband & I will be at our favorite State Park campground in the whole world, FOUR MILE CREEK STATE PARK in Youngstown, NY. It is only about 25 minutes from the house and right on Lake Ontario and we love it. On a clear day you can see the CN tower in Toronto across the Lake. We will be camping with friends and our son's family who have a brand new RV courtesy of MAKE A WISH - the best organization in the WHOLE WORLD!! Our 8 year old grandson, Luke, has Leukemia and that was his wish. Everyone have a great weekend, Happy Trails!

We were just @ Wekiva all of last week & loved it; great park.
Like many of the others we are retired so we avoid busy weekends & go during the week when ever we take a notion & avoid the crowds.
Everyone enjoy & be safe
