Williamsburg,Va

We have just arrived home from a fantastic trip to the Williamsburg,Va area. If anyone is looking for a campground in the area I would check out the KOA in that area. It was a very neat & clean facility, plus there was plenty of activities to keep all busy (including the grown-ups). The campground has 2 sections to stay in, we stayed in the colonial section ( we took a walk to the williamsburg section but the sites didnt look as roomy).Just thought I would pass it along to anyone out there who might be interested in that area.

Thanks for the update on the KOA campgrounds. We stayed at American Heritage in Williamsburg. Also Outdoor World has a campground across the street from American Heritage if you are members. It is also a good campsite. The new owners may have opened it up to all campers under the ENCORE banner like they did at harbour View here in VA.

We stayed at American Heritage in early July. Wow, the best bathhouse EVER! Not just clean, they had MARBLE floors and walls. Furthermore, they cost only $45 or so per night. Now my wife is spoiled!

Our first time there was also in early July. The tile work in the Bathhouse looked new. We were impressed also. We usually stay at the KOA, but from now on American Heritage will be our first choice in Williamsburg. The only negative to the place is the dusty roads.

We stayed at American Heritage also this summer. It really was very nice, with nice patios and a great pool. We were totally happy with it.
