Where about are you heading in the Finger Lakes region of NYS? Probably a little further away from Syracuse.

We actually adjusted the plans a bit. starting out near Lancaster pa at eagles peak adventure bound first week and then to mountain vista campground for the second week, unfortunately not making up to the finger lakes area this time.
Thanks

Well enjoy the trips. Keep the Finger Lakes Region on your list of "To Go To" places though, especially if you like wine. There are many festivals throughout the region during the summer that are fun. Biggest is the FL Wine Festival at Watkins Glen Raceway the second week of July every year. Hundreds of wineries, music, food and vendors and you camp on grounds at the race track. Each lake has great state parks to camp at. Ithaca on Cayuga Lake is very eclectic and fun.

We, too, have been eying Otter Lake for the past couple of years... But between our favorite parks and trying other new places, it keeps getting pushed off the list. I hear it's really nice? If anyone here has inside info, Im sure we'd all love to hear about it.

We tried to rsvp for otter lake in January last year for summer and they were full up for the days we
We're available so we booked on the first day we were able to last year (sept) for Memorial Day weekend this year. Can't wait. There looks like so much to do there we might not even leave the campground. We did bush kill falls last year so no need to do it again. Btw we got a lake front site too. How cool. Our first lake front stay.

I would say that mountain busy is more rustic and otter lake is an upper end campground. We drove through otter lake last year. Mountain vista did have a dog park which was nice.
