Wilmington, NC KOA

[Toad Haul]

Thinking about a trip to Wilmington, NC for the Azalea festival in April. Has anyone ever visited the KOA there? Any words of wisdom out here?

I have never stayed there but it would not surprise me if they were not already booked. I stay at FT Fisher a military campground. They have a campground at Carolina Beach and also a state park that has RV sites

That Koa is pretty nice but lots of traffic out and in off of 17. The best place to stay if your attending parade and festivities. There is a Rv carwash there also,self serve.
