14" to 15" tires

Hello;

Just buying a Surveyor and it is coming with 14" tires, the trailer seems a
little low, any issues if I change to 15" tires?
It is the surveyor 295 sport...I noticed other surveyors come with 15"
thanks!

not sure on your model but some have spacers to give that little extra to stuff the larger tires

if you can meausre the center hub to fender lip on one that has the 15" wheels and then measure the one you are buying to make sure there is enough room for the larger tires

Thanks!

Will do it's still on the lot waiting pick up...it came with "optional" 14" aluminum
rims I would rather have the plain steel white ones with 15", I think the dealer will
swap them for me as no cost to them.

15" are unlikely to fit. Our 235 has only 2" between the tires so larger diameter will not fit. There is a spacer kit but I'd wait to see whether it is needed.

Well, even if 15" tires are available, you would probably get at most an increase of 2" in diameter and you would only get half of that increase (radius). So, if clearance is your concern, you are better off with the riser kit. I believe the riser kit gives you 3". You would need a tire diameter increase of 6" to equal that; an improbable scenario I think.
