My slop is real... For my chevy the adapter (2.5 down to 2") does not fit tight in the hole so it can bounce around in the 2.5" hitch. That movement began to oval out the hitch pin hole a bit. I am not complaining about hitch weight. I have plenty of truck for my little trailer.
Exactly the same problem I had. The pin holes were getting beat to hell.
