2.7 eco vibration

Just wondering how many 2.7 eco owners experience a vibration from 35 on up. It's worse between 70-75. Tires have been load balanced. Drive shaft has been checked. It's not rotors or hubs. I had service techs ride and drive to verify as well. Test drove another 17 F150 2.7 eco and found same vibration. Talked to a service manager at a dealership who has same vibration. I'm thinking harmonic. No vibration in neutral while reving. I build cars for a living. It does it towing as well. Anyone else?

If you haven't already done so, you might try posting on a Ford Truck forum. There are at least 2 forums that are really good.

Sounds like the bearing in the hamster wheel.
Go with Timkins.

Sorry couldn't resist.

Can you pinpoint a frequency of the vibe?

Does it feel like road speed, or engine speed?

What is vibrating, dashboard, floorboard...

Sometimes through careful elimination of what it isn't, you can zero in on what it is.

I have a '16 2.7 in a Supercab, man I love it!

Remember too, if you narrow it down to engine vibration, is it full rpm related or half engine speed, which would be anything cam, valvetrain...

Sorry to hear it, it can be a real pain to find the culprit.

Good luck!

I feel the vibration in the seat and steering wheel. This is the 3rd 2.7 I've heard of or drove w the same issue. Just plain strange. BTW just turned 1200 miles on it. I have a 2100 mile Labor Day weekend trip planned pulling the trailer from Mooresville NC to Rochester NY to DuQuoin IL and back to Mooresville. I'm hoping I will have more answers. Thanks
