I don't know about a blackhole but... "Strange things are afoot at the circle K".

MrSen,

Glad everything is working out for you!

Everybody else that posted,

Thanks for all your input! Discussion is good. Learning is better. I know I learned something.

Aren't the receivers stamped with the size ball to use? I have 2 boat trailers - one is stamped 1 7/8" and the other is stamped 2". Man, get some grease inside that rusty receiver or you will need the larger ball soon!

Update........

Received my Equalizer hitch at the campground in Lake George NY on Tuesday from rvwholesalers.

I probably saved over $300US buying it from RVW and having it shipped here rather than buying it from a dealer in Canada.....I love saving a few bucks.

I installed it today and now I hope I don't have any sway on the way home. Coming down here was just horrible.

Thanks everyone again for your help and input.

MrSen

Great, MrSen.

I'm sure if it's set up correctly, you'll be fine.

It was difficult to set up the equalizer at the campground because of the uneven ground and I was not going to close the TT mid week to do so. I took careful measurements and figured I would pull over at the nearest rest area and adjust if needed. I did not need to readjust at all, everything was perfect and level.

WOW, what a nicer ride. No sway at all and I noticed a difference as soon as I started pulling away from the campsite.
