2003 gmc 2500 hd diesel

Looking at a 2003 GMC 2500HD slt 4 doors extended cab 2x4, diesel, auto
only as 126500 km. on it. any concerns with this truck, anything i should know before i go ahead and by or should i just leave it... my concerns are with the quality and reliability of motor, tranny, and diff..... or anything else that could be
worrysome....

Only real issue on that first generation (2001-2004.5) of duramax was the injectors. They were internal and are hard to access. If you change 1, you might as well change all on that bank as the labor will be right about the same. They were warranting the injectors on 1st gen d-max till 200k miles, but since those trucks are 10+ years old I havent heard of them doing it anymore. But if you know your service manager at a deslership im sure it may help.
Everything else is pretty good on them.
