2006 SV 192t - tow vehicle??

Hello there! We just upgraded from a tent trailer to this hybrid trailer. I was just wondering what is your TV for this trailer. Any SUVs? Thanks!

192T is about 3700lbs dry, which you can estimate at about 4700 lbs loaded. Crossovers with 5000 lbs rating (current Explorer, Traverse, Acadia, etc) will not be enough for this trailer, since some of that rating would get used for passengers and cargo in the SUV.

A 2006-2010 V6 Explorer with towing package will have 5500 lbs capacity, which I would consider barely adequate. But that combination gets horrible gas mileage, towing or not, due to the 3.73 gearing.

If I were in your shoes, I would look at a V6 Durango, with the factory towing package. This has 6200 lbs towing capacity, which would be a good fit. If you want some room to grow, get the Hemi-V8.

If you want a larger SUV, look to the Ford Expedition, it has 6000 lbs standard towing, and 9000 with the HD towing package.

Not an SUV, but I did use my 2011 Ford Ranger (v6) to tow a 2014 192T.
My trailer is just over 3700 lbs (as mentioned) and the ranger had a tow package and I think was rated at 5700 lbs. It towed it fine (with a WDH) as long as I wasn't in any wet areas with hills. So if I was planning on sticking with short trips to RV parks with nice in out roads, no problem.

We upgraded to a larger F150 for other reasons, but the extra towing ability is a bonus because now we can go longer distance without worry, and get in to places that we don't have to worry that much about the grade (think music jamboree set up in farmers fields and leaving after the weekend if it rained).

The v6 Ranger used a ton more gas pulling the trailer then the F150 does. So I would say get more than you need if you can.
