Didn't cook it at all. At most slightly shortened the life of the fluid. I would change it again at 100K. I'm surprised it got that high though. What water temps were you seeing?

2011 Ram 2500 Trans Temp concerns

I choose to install a manual switch for fan. I use it durning tow. And or anytime I want air flow over all radiators even after shutting off engine I can run this fan for a few minutes.
No need for fan to run its only in addition too.....

Normal water temps

Coolant got up to 220-ish and the fan kicked on per normal ops, kept it from going higher and eventually brought it back down. Can't remember what the engine oil temp was but definitely higher than normal. Thx.
