2012 suburban vs wildwoodxlite 282qbxl

We just bought our first big camper and I feel like I bit off more than my burb can handle. Chevy has towing capacity at 8k# I've added a trans cooler. Camper dry 6500ish max 7700. My burb has 3.08gear . Any opinions or advice? Pulled it on several trips no probs and we live in AR. Heading to FL this summer (flat whew) anything I can do to help out or in over head??? Thanks for your suggestions
