2014 Cadillac ATS Toad?

Does anyone have or know of someone towing a Cadillac ATS, Manual trans as a toad? Cadillac gave the standard CYA response and said no. It is a rear wheel drive so I'm thinking there should not be a problem.
I presently have a 2014 Passat TDI, Manual trans that tows great, I was also told that wouldn't work. So far over 3000 miles without an incident.
I still want to change to the Cadillac but don't want to make the leap until I know someone has had success towing it.

I know of a few guys that flat tow the SRX, I have never heard of anyone towing the ATS. See if you can google the owners manual online, if you find it, it should be listed under Recreational Towing.
