Ours didn't come with the factory prep package either. We considered it but in the end, we purchased all Demco parts. The dealer who installed our hitch ordered it and the necessary accessories directly from Demco. One of the parts they ordered was incorrect, so they returned it and ordered the correct part with no issue. We also called Demco before the installation was done to make sure we understood what the installation entailed. Any negative reviews I saw about Demco were about the installation, not the product. I wanted to know what mistakes people typically make when installing the hitch so I could ensure that didn't happen with our installation. Lucky for us, everything went well. Here's what it looks like with the cover opened and closed.Click image for larger version

Thanks for the pictures and installer contact info. I think I'll give them a call Monday. My truck has a hard tonneau cover also, so glad to see this hitch still allows me to use it.
