2014 Fiat TOAD on Sunseeker 2300 Chevy

I have my base plate installed, Blue Ox, and a Blue Ox Alpha tow bar purchased. I'm getting magnetic tow lights but not using them on the outside, I plan to mount them to the back shelf of the Fiat. I've read lots about magnetic lights falling off. I measured the difference in height between the RV Receiver and the base plate. It is only 3" and therefore I don't think I will need a drop receiver. The Fiat weight is under 2500 lbs. so I didn't get supplemental brakes.

Any comments, concerns, or suggestions before I head out on my first trip with the toad?

just one concern. Weight is only one concern but the real driver of a supplemental brake system is the legal requirements. Many of the states you may travel through might require a system and while it won't matter when there is no problem it could become huge after an accident with both the law and your insurance company. I would reconsider that.
