Yeah we will see not sure the Premium will make that much of a difference, so maybe I will have to try two tanks just to see if not I may have to upgrade to a new F350 Lariat 4X4 Crew SB next year, just because I like to be able to upgrade to a 5th wheel in 1-2 years

Ok little disappointed in my mpg this weekend pulling my dry weight 3,700 lb wet about 4,500 camper this weekend. Got about 9.5 on the way there and 8.5 on the way home. I'll confess I was spending some time in the passing lane on the way home. It's nice to finally be able to pass slower traffic. I was hoping for over 10 mpg as I was getting 8-9 mpg in my prior tv a v8 gmc envoy. The terrain was a lot of up and down mountains. Next trip is to myrtle beach, hope I can get over 10 since 90% will be highway traffic.

My experience towing with my 2011 Ecoboost is if I stay at 60-62 mph, I'll get 10-11 mpg pulling 7,500 lb toy hauler. Drive above 63 mph and mpg drops fast. I have never been short of power climbing any mountain.

Thanks Mark, yeah I was mov'in today probably averaging 60-70. I try to make sure I go no faster than 70.

The power was nice and able keep up with traffic even on the mountains.

I try and behave on my myrtle beach trip

Also, I lock out 6 th gear in tow/haul which leaves me at about 2,000 rpm and the truck seems real happy there. Rarely downshifts. And I use cruise whenever I can.

2014 F150 EB and I learned anything over 65 normal driving kills MPG, towing my 5300# Roo 60-65 is max and I can get best 10.5-11 weather permitting, wind takes that down to 9.5

Do you all think Tow/Haul should be used all the time? I only use when under 40MPH like back roads or bumper to bumper traffic not convinced it works well over 50MPH

I use Tow/Haul all the time. It aids in deceleration as well downshifting sooner. I rarely see 6th above 60, if I am in rolling terrain I can run in 6th at 55. The best I get is 10 pulling 9500 lbs and fiver frontal area in the wind.

And this is with only $2250 in rebates. If Ford was offering the ~7500 in rebates they were when I bought my truck, you'd be looking at almost $40K even. And I'd never buy a demo. The dealer drives them around and then wants to still make money on them. No thanks. I've always been able to buy brand new just as cheap.

new 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat in Whitesboro

My cousin just got a 2014 F150 SCREW white Base FX4 6.5 box with 5.0 from a Canadian dealer for $35K brand new. The dealer even made the fix to get it in to the USA

Everything is Metric though

Went to Ogden Utah(still there) went we got close to Denver I stopped for gas, they had 85 octane, I filled up, double gas milage after that to Utah. Talked to the Ford dealer here and he said it's ok to use because of the altitude? Getting 17 -18 mpg in town, 10-13 towing our 5500 lb TT......
