2015 F250 gasser question

Have a 2015 Ford F250 6.2 liter gas truck, keep getting what appears to be brake dust (reddish brown colored dust) on the wheels. A lot more on the right front wheel than the others. Actually barely noticeable on all wheels except the right front which get covered with it. Truck only has 5400 miles on it, I bought it new in February of 2015. Took it into dealer they claim they can't find anything wrong. Anyone have any thoughts or have experienced this. Thanks

I have a 13-350 6.2. There is alot of dust on the front 2 but usually an even amount. Try feeling the wheel hub area after a drive to see if one side is warmer than the other. If you can't feel any pull to the side when you brake I would think you are fine. The pads they use are crap, you can get dustless ones from many different manufacturers like EBC

Some brake pads throw a lot of dust. Just the way it is. A good quality aftermarket pad will work a lot better but be careful. A good set of pads will cost ya.

The caliper is dragging. It could be the hardware is dry. You can probably hear them squeak when you apply the brakes. Mine were dry and squeaking. 2014 F350, 6.2L.

I got the same reddish brown crap on my 2015 6.2L.. First I waxed the wheels real good so it does stick as well. I am thinking that it is some of the steel/cast iron around the brake assy that is rusting.. specially after driving thru the salted sloppy road this winter.. I am going to pull the wheels and paint the assy around the brake assy when some good rust proof paint.. I think don't believe the redish brown stuff is mainly brake dust. IMO
