Thanks for the info.
Since you have a lot of Ford knowledge I have a question on Ford Motor Credit. I wanted to pay cash for the truck difference but they said I had to take a minimum loan and pay it off to get the full incentives so I did. Now I want to pay it off in full. Ford Motor Credit says no problem and gave me the payoff number. The dealer says I need to split that in three payments. Apparently, there is some 90 day issue for the dealer that is if I don't pay a little interest they get charged for my early payoff??? Have you head of anything like that? What would you do? Thanks.
I will not use the dealer I bought it at for service or anything. They are too far away.

I wouldn't worry so much about the dealer. They made their money on you already. They may lose some based on that story, but this is your money. That interest that they may get is interest that you pay. Yeah...just pay it off and be done with it. I've done the same thing (though not with a big ticket item like this) to get the incentives. Then pay it off as soon as the first bill comes in.

My boss is a Ford person they always buy at the lowest and pay off in a few months. Set up payables to do an auto generate when the time expires.

Just got back from Bennett Springs MO (trout fishing) with the first tow with the new F-350. What an amazing difference in towing from the F-150 3.5 Eco. Two finger relaxed towing. Sixth gear at 65+ mph up Ozarks on the interstate. It is very impressive pulling a 9000 lb. TT. I was barely aware of pushes from trucks, crosswinds, and even gusts. Will a 14-15k toy hauler pull as well? I drove my brother-in-laws F-250 6.7L quite bit pulling a 39' Keystone Sprinter 5er and this setup really gives it a run for the money.

Congratulations on the first successful trip. It is an impressive truck for sure. I can't say what 14 - 15k will pull like. My 5th wheel is about 11K as we pull it. And it pulls great. I did have to add air bags to help with the bounce, and to level it off. But I have not had any issues in the seven years (wow...has it been that long already) I've had it.

I control the truck and her the RV's so no telling what we will end up. It should be able to handle most anything she dreams up.

How far do you guys get about towing before the truck notifies of requiring an oil change. It says up to 10,000 miles normally but I heard someone say 7000-8500 is much more common with towing.

When NOT towing I go 8,000 miles before a oil change, when towing during camping season I only go 5,000 before I change it, also I change fuel filters every other oil change....

I only do maybe 7500 miles a year at most so 5000 miles is next year for me. Yes on the fuel filters too. I still have to go through the Ford maintenance schedule. We were rushed to get it going for camping in a few days including adding a 5er hitch friendly tonneau cover for our current TT since a lot of the gear is in back of the truck for now. I will read the OM cover to cover.

I just noticed your sig and the new truck and Vengeance as I reread all of these comments. Why did you go to the F-450 - for the 40D12? It has some significant specs but wouldn't a F-350 DRW do fine with a different rear end (4.10 or 4.30)?
Hitch Weight 3,234 lbs. UVW 15,196 lbs.
2017 Ford F450 Lariat 6.7L
2016 Vengeance Touring Edition 40D12 It's real nice.

Interstate travel at 70 mph with the cruise set and it rarely dropped out of sixth.
