2016 1/2 Ton Truck Safety Ratings
Looks like the new F150 is the only 1/2 ton truck to receive 5 stars across the board. Ram has some serious work to do.

actually saw this on the local news this am . with film showing the f-150 , C-1500,and D-1500 . on the crunch test ford did the best at protecting the occupants . Dodge was bad and i wouldn't want to be in one it a frontal crash .Chevy was right there with ford . though there seemed to be less damage to the Chevy then the others . don't know how they grade these tests

Ford makes good trucks. It is interesting to see this rating from an aluminum body, I've been skeptical and curious how it would do.

Seems the Italian Fiat trucks didn't do so well.

I have a Silverado 1500 Crew Cab, so I'm good from the hips up! I can probably still drive with wooden pegs - thanks Chevy!

I had to drive a Toyoat Rav 4 today, Painful experience!!! I am glad I have a Ford Superduty F 250 as a daily driver.

The picture posted only shows one F150 model. It appears all the F150 models faired as well.

Safety ratings

I always though a "glancing blow" would be better in head on collisions. Not in most of those trucks. . .
