2016 Jeep Wrangler ABS and Traction Lights After Tow

This week we towed our 2016 Jeep Wrangler Sport about 90 miles to a state park. I thought we had double checked all setup, but after unhooking we discovered the ABS light and the traction (anti skid) lights won't go off. I ended up driving it home today rather than tow again.

Has anyone with a Jeep Wrangler had this problem, if so, what was the diagnosis? I've been to a few Jeep forums and they all seem to point to a wheel speed sensor, but I couldn't find any posts specific to having towed the vehicle.

Was the key turned on while towing? That’s a no-no.

I've had this issue from off roading my '15 JKUR out on the dunes.
It's caused by the traction control getting mixed signals from the sensors in the steering wheel, the wheels, and the motion sensor.
Most time it resets itself after 1 or 2 restarts.
If it doesn't clear, try a power reset. Remove the negative battery cable for 10 to 15 seconds.

So, the Jeep has been in the shop for 2 weeks now, the technician thinks it may have been wired wrong. Our brakes were fried, and after being replaced the ABS light remained on. Still waiting for the module from the dealership. When it's ready we will bring the MH down to the shop to compare wiring.
