Looks like it's available in the S and up.

I believe the S is the base model so looks like it should be available across all trims.

That's good news for my Titan-loving Foreman, that I carpool with...

Thanks....

Look forward to these showing up in the campgrounds in the next few years. Might be one of the first real contenders outside of the big 3. Wish it was in something other than a Nissan.

you can buy a 1 ton diesel for those prices, with twice the towing capacity and 3 times the payload. No thanks

Right, Oh with nearly twice the HP. I had the original Titan, not that impressed and don't see high hopes for the XD.

Not impressed. The cargo carrying capacity really limits the vehicle's ability with 5th wheels. I was hoping for 2500 lbs but I guess I'll need to get an F250 or F350 to that.

These are interesting quotes...

"Any F150 that has less than a GVWR of 7,850 should never be considered for towing any kind of fifth wheel trailer."

"Chevrolet does not provide 5th wheel tow ratings for this truck. One owner's manual states: "This model is neither designed nor intended to tow fifth-wheel or gooseneck trailers."

Strange, I was not able to find anything stated like that in my manual...guess I missed it. I guess a lot of people are using their trucks for things that "should never be considered" or "are not designed nor intended for" lol

I find that very funny...one source states that the manual specifically says not to do something...but the person the sits in front of a computer all day providing live chat for 300 different companys and just runs questions in a search box says she cannot find anything on it so it must not be recommended...

BWT I am not agreeing or disagreeing with either...

It is what it is...and we all do what we do...but thank you for giving me a good laugh...

What melissa told me was also what the article I quoted earlier said. They both said GM doesn't list ratings for 5th wheel. The article went in to say one owners manual stated do not haul 5er.

As it happens....I saw one on the road last week with dealer plates...Cummins badge and all. It sort of looked dis-proportionate in the front end fender area. I'm sure it will do well but it looks much like a Chevy/ford inbreed. My opinion only.

As a 1st generation Titan owner, I sure don't want one. I think it's a very disappointing effort...
