[QUOTE=I just wish Ram would put a better tire on the bigger trucks, those Firestone Transforce HT tires SUCK.[/QUOTE]

What's wrong with them? I've been using them on my '02 RAM 2500 for 10 years and they've been great. I've switched to others a few times, but always come back to the Transforce's.

What do you recommend over them?

I have 23000 on these tires and I will be lucky to get 30000 out of them. I live in the snow belt of NY and these tires are absolutely useless in the snow. My son in-law bought a 1500 Ram eco-diesel and it has Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor Pro's on it and those tires are awesome. Super quite and fantastic on wet roads and snow covered roads. These will be my next tire.

If you are getting the 20" wheel option, their are few other tires available. Firestone I'm sure is giving ram a great deal. I to have heard they have a short life. Hoping BFG A/Ts are available when I need to replace. Awesome on almost any surface. The good years my 1500 however were the best set of tires I have ever owned as far as life....78000 miles.

I have the Firestone Transforce tires and my passenger side front tire looks like all the lettering is about to fall off. In addition, some of the sidewall outer skin is peeling. It sucks that they don't warranty tires with new trucks
