The last one I watched with the big three the Ford won with Ram and Chevy less than 30 seconds behind. Geee.... I'm retired so who cares. I wish the big three would work on fuel mileage, reliability and ride, I think that 800 plus foot pounds of torque is enough.

PS Work on increasing payload!!!

Have to agree, being retired I don't care about 30 seconds. Good fuel mileage, reliable, pulls trailer ok. That is what works for me.

If it were a Ford it'd probably go into Limp mode from the DPF being clogged or failing to regen while towing at high altitude.

I speak from experience which is similar to others are having towing with a 2nd generation 6.7L in the mountains.

Until Ford acknowledges this issue, DON"T BUY ONE! The engine is great but the Obama mandated emission control systems have ruined this diesel engine.
