2015 2500 with the 6.4 gasser. Just turned 50k and have about 7k towing (handy feature of the ram display) no issue towing 7500#. Took it through the mountains last year and held speed without issue. I get where the oil burner is logical, but most of my miles are un loaded I couldn't justify the extra charge. Oil changes if you do them yourself are about 70 bucks every 8k or so. Went from a 1/2 ton ram to the 3/4 made a huge difference in safety and stability no matter what the power plant while towing.
