That's great, sounds like a dealer to do business with considering he did the right thing by you. I am assuming that he was not forced of course

On my first longer distance tow with my 2016 F350 I had the same results. I decided to check my DEF via the productivity screen and noticed it said less than 1/2 full. I grabbed a 2.5 G jug at Wally Mart and tried to fill once I got to my destination (Total towing since I bought the truck at that point was about 12 hours) and it took about 85% of the jug before it overfilled.

Since then I've added none.

I have been thinking about buying one of these.

Not sure if it will prevent an overfill or not.

Not sure about it preventing the overfill. The jug that I bought did have the nozzle as part of it, I think the electronic information is lacking. It said under 1/2 full and it did not even take 2.5 gallon. Truth is if you check the manual it says when it reads under 1/2 full to drive normally. In the future I will do just that.

Not at all. We don't have the rude litigious society up here. Calm approach works wonders. I have sent several people thee to buy trucks. Even other brands have moved to Ford as dealership and service ha made the difference.

B and B here if you go to one dealer you can look at all the different trucks. The Dealer I went to sold Ford, Chevy, GM and Toyota. The one in the next town over sells Ford, Chevy,GM and Dodge. Can't get much of a deal when all at same dealer. When you want repairs they don't do the right thing since they have you by the well you know.
