3/4 Ton Ford vs. Chevy vs. Dodge w/Gas Engine
Let's start a new survey. This comparison is limited to 3/4 ton (F250, 2500, etc.) trucks only, with gasoline engine. I know the big diesel trucks are almost equal and will pull a mountain. If you were buying a new truck today and it definitely had to be a 3/4 ton with gas engine, which would you buy and why, Chevy, Ford or Dodge?

I bought a 2010 F250 with the 5.4 and pull a Fuzion 300 toy hauler with a Harley Road King. I get between 8 & 9 mpg pulling 10,000 lbs at 65 mph. Tranny temp never moves no matter what the road brings it. I would buy again if not buying a disel.

2012 F250 CC 4x4 6.2L pulling 2014 320bhds by freedom express. Average just over 9 mpg towing and love it. Wouldn't tow with any other gasser. Love my Ford but still miss my early 80s chevys.

2005 F250 cc lariat V10 4x4 pulling our 39' fiver weighing in at 13k+ lbs. Milage as good as 8 or as bad as 6 depending on terrain, but mostly my speed. Never had a problem maintaining 65 if I wanted.

It wouldn't be a Dodge, because they stopped producing trucks and Ram Trucks now produces the trucks.
And me personally, I would go for the Ram with the 6.4l hemi. Better ride with the coils, optional air ride, and a nice powerplant.

2011 F250 with 6.2L and Firestone airbags pulling a Crusader 290RLT. Have no problems mileage 8 to 10 depending on terrain.

If I were to ever go back to a gas eng truck, which I would never stoop that low unless I never pulled again. it would have to be a chevy, I have pulled with my old 6.0 3/4, my bosses 6.0 2013 3/4, and our company`s 2014 f250 3/4 6. what ever, and the 6.0 had more seat of the pants power then the ford and was really comfortable in the seat, but I have never driven a dodge with the hemi

I have a '14 RAM 2500 with the 5.7. My TT is about 8k. It pulls just fine up here in flat land (Ohio/Michigan). I average 10.5 pulling and 16 empty to work five days a week, 50 mile round trip. I love it. I have not driven the 6.4, but mine has plenty of grunt.
