I'm in Louisiana and 90% of the time I'm pulling local on flat roads. No regret with the 6.2L. I've never had the RPMs go into the red. I've only got 11000 miles on it, and the fuel mileage unloaded has improved since it was new. Hopefully that will continue.
Thanks for the input WEMig. Good to know the 6.2 has the stuff to pull the load minus a bit of torque across the curve. As most of my driving is without a load, I am pretty comfortable using my SuperDuty as my daily driver.
I pulled the trigger on the 351THSS and pick it up the 23rd. Got a great deal from RVW in OH. Will be installing the SuperGlide 4100 and SuperSprings next week.
