30,000lb towing - wow
Just saw a commercial while watching the patriots vs. raven game. It was a RAM pick up truck commercial and it said 30,000 lb towing! OMG. The pickups are really getting powerful.
I guess people will not have to worry about which RV to buy. lol.

They mentioned a 7,000+ payload number. But not sure if it was the same truck.

If you click on the Hemi engine it says a 7,360 lb payload. WOW!
So you can see some trickery in the ad.

My guess with out looking it up I will say the 600 pounds is about the difference between a gas burner and the oil burner.

The trucks they make now are awesome but at some point they are going to have to draw a line at what the payload and gcwr is on the trucks. They are still pickup based small trucks pulling loads well into CDL territory. The pickup also aren't going to hold up as well to pulling 30k after half a million miles like a truck medium or heavy duty truck will.

In at least one state (Calif) some of us ARE in CDL country.
