My GVWR is also 8800 pounds which technically gives me a limit of 1100 pound pin weight. I am over that pin weight with my lightweight 5er by a few hundred pounds. You will reach the technical spec limit on your truck for the pin weight LONG before you max out the towing capacity. As far as I know, there is no toy hauler 5er that Forest River makes that will put you within spec for towing with your truck. They all will put you over max payload capacity. I am not saying it won't do the job, just that you will be over the limits set by Ford.
That sounds a little high on the weight. Mine rolled across the scales a couple weeks ago with a full tank of fuel, me the DW, 2 boys, the dog and the hitch in the bed with a CC at 7300ish. Don't remember the exact weight but was under 7400. Most of the time when I am towing the 5er I am by myself and my wife has the boys and is towing the toys so I am right at my GVW unless they are with me then I am over.
