I have a 2010 Chevy short bed w/ 6.6 Duramax and Allison Transmission. It came with a B&W Gooseneck hitch. I have just purchased a 2010 29 RE Silverback.

I have researched gooseneck adaptors and settled on the Pop Up RV1 as the best choice.

I know that I do not have a factory warranty since I am purchasiing the trailer used but I have two questions:

1) will Good Sam insure the trailer with the goosneck adaptor?
2) What is the potential for damage to my trailer with this method of hitch attachment.
