7 pin tow connector?

On the E450 2015 Forester 2501. I have checked out the 7 pin tow connector and all seems well, except I need to know is a wire connected to the electric control brake signal pin, and if so where is it, like under the dash somewere, and what pin is it?
I'm connecting my tow brake controller from my old MH to my new Forester.

Thanks

On the truck or MH plug the elect brake is the blue wire on Pin 1. When you are looking at the connector pin 1 is the first pin to the left of the notch.

Thanks, my other question is if pin 1 is wired where does it end up in the front of the coach so it can be connected to the controller?

If your TV is a Ford E450 as I think you are stating in your post I would say the blue wire is connected to the integrated brake controller on the dash. I would look at the back of the integrated brake controller and look for the blue lead. Then I would use the multi-meter set on a R scale to insure the continuity between the two points. Check that there is no voltage on the pin before you do this. This is based upon my F350 TV and wiring seems to change somewhat every year good luck.

7 pin tow connector

Then go to this website and make it a favorite on your computer, you'll always have a place to check trailer wiring.

You should have a coin/storage tray or switch panel and/or brake controller above the radio and the vent to the left of the radio. You should be able to pry out the coin/storage tray or switch panel to access the trailer brake wiring.Of course if the factory brake conntroller is there, then you won't need to install your own.

The shop manual indicates to use a small screwdriver and pry from the right side of the tray/coin holder.
