This is the way I justified diesel option. The diesel option runs 8300 over gas but with the discounts I got on the truck I paid around 7200 for the diesel option. If you go to the NADA used car guide it says on 3 year old truck the diesel options adds 8150 to the used price of the truck. So I paid 7200 and 40 to 60 bucks more for oil change I still in the black and would stand to make a few bucks.

I see the 1 ton and raise to a 2 ton 6x6. I would stay with the 3/4 ton with that much weight.

The OP should hold out for the 2018 F375 triple rear wheel...just in case.
