Air Bag Advise
I have an older 2500 chev HD ext cab short box. I really like the truck plenty of power tows well and has been well maintained. While towing i do get some bounce in the front end of the truck. The truck is primarily used for towing the travel trailer and a small utility trailer.
The original owner had a set of air bags he took off awhile back when the truck had a camper installed. He gave these to me to use if I needed them. I've never had a truck with airbags and I need some advise If I install these will it help eliminate or minimize the front end bounce?
I appreciate your thoughts.

I have airlift bags on my halfton. (Goodyear) and love them. Keeps truck level under load and prevenst bottoming out on hard bumps. (Louisiana highways) Don't know what they'll do for front end, but will not hurt and they were free. You can find installation diagrams online. Just search manufacturers website. Good luck.

I have Air Lift 5000 bags on my 2003 GMC 2500. I pull a 5th wheel, different dynamic than TT, but mine is very stable. Little to none nose bounce or chucking.

Are you using a WDH ?? If so, getting that set up properly is key to minimizing the front end bounce. If not using a WDH, then that should be considered. Air bags will do nothing to distribute the trailer tongue weight back to the front axle.

Thanks for the responses, Yes Sorry I forgot to add I do have a WDH setup. I believe I'm using them correctly. The bars appear to be heavily loaded after the chains are set. Here is a shot of the setup

A trip to some scales with and without the bars in place might be in order to see if the trailer tongue weight is properly distributed. If the WDH is setup correctly, then airbags may be the solution. 
Have the OEM shocks ever been replaced ??

Scales are a good idea. Ive never done that before where does someone go to get that done?
The previous owner said the shocks were recently changed and they look to be newer (nice blue paint) but maybe I need to get another set for the piece of mind.

CAT Scale Locator | CAT Scale
Or, you may find a rock quarry or other type of truck scales near you. Those are usually single platform scales, and a bit harder to get weights on, but can be done.

I have the Firestone Ride Rite on my 06, 3500 Dodge dually. I picked up my 360PDEK Friday. FR says the pin weight is around 2600 lbs for our RV. I had 14 psi of air in the bags and with the RV hooked up. There was no more than 2 inches of "squat" on my truck. I love my Dodge, but load carrying is not it's best feature. They are weak in that area from all that I have had in the past. But 14 psi is not very much. At 100 psi, they are supposed to give 5000 lbs of lift. I was only getting about 700 lbs of lift / help with them.
