Air bags

DW and I are considering replacing or 2015 flagstaff 8228rkws with a Keystone Cougar. The tow weight is about at the trucks max but pin weight is well within the trucks limits. I'm considering air bags to keep the truck level but don't know much about them, where to purchase, cost, installation etc. Any advice/help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I think the Cougar's slide mechanism is the cable operated the accu slide system . if that's the case i would run away from it.

As far as Airbags i like the airlift system installation is pretty easy for a dyi'er . and many options

When I buy on line I usually use e trailer or Michigan truck spring. When I get larger items like grill guards and nerf bars I like to see in person so I use the local truck accessories store. Just a suggestion have you considered airless bags like timbren, sumo springs or air cells I have had one or the other on the 4 trucks to include my dually. Just installed yesterday took about 30 minutes only because while I removed the oem bump stops my 13 year old daughter was reading instructions she decided to get hands dirty. I did driver side she did passenger side start to finish. They really are that easy to install. I wouldn’t keep buying or recommend if I didn’t like. Nothing wrong with airbags and maybe one day I will install some give me a legit reason to mount a compressor to the truck best of luck

There are two poplar manufactures of Air Bags for vehicles. One is Air lift which sells about eight different styles of ride control devices. Another one is Firestone Ride Rite, I know a lot of people have use these on their vehicles.

I used the Air Lift Co. LoadLifter 5000 kit with the Wilreless Air Gen 3 kit 72000. This allows for individual control of the air bags and continuous monitoring of the air bag pressure. One nice feature of this is there are no openings required for wiring to be routed into the cab to control the air bags. I did the installation myself and purchase the kits from Amazon Prime (free shipping). These kits cost me about $1,000 when I purchased them.

I had the Firestone airbags on my truck, but had an Airlift wireless controller. I think either of the airbag brands are good. I don't know about any of the control systems for Firestone, but I know the Airlift wireless is awesome. To be able to adjust on the fly with just a push of a button is great.
