Air compressors for air bags

What does anyone use to put air in their air bags? I would like to find a portable air compressor that will inflate my air bags at the campsite.
We have a 2011 F250 with 6.7 diesel that I have installed Firestone air ride on. I like to reduce the pressure after getting to the campsite so the ride is not so stiff while exploring then be able to inflate back up to move to next site.
Thanks

I have one of the battery packs for jump starting cars that also has a small compressor built into it. I got mine at Costco when the battery in my old one, a Husky brand, died. I am still hoping to be able to replace the battery in that one.

Firestone has an onboard compressor that hooks directly to the airlines via a T fitting. The pressure gauge and switch mounts under dash.
I have been using mine for over 4 years and it works great. There is also button on switch to release air when not towing.

I'm too cheap to buy the onboard compressor so I just use a $50 12v sLime compressor from Wal*Mart. I always carry it anyway.

Just about any one will work.
Try using a hand pump for bicycle's, PSI is needed not volume.

Something like this perhaps?

I have a small bostich compressor that I keep in the front of our 5er. I put one of those self coiling hoses on it and it reaches the back of the pickup where the valves are mounted. Also great for airing up tires and floaties. Only thing is that its 120 volts but I usually a Honda 2000 or am pugged into a campsite.

I just use a small compressor like the ones listed above. Plugs into 12v outlet.

I use a Viair 10007 onboard system to fill the the bags on the fly. Plus I put an air chuck under the right rear passenger door with a ball valve shut-off, so I can fill tires, floats or anything else that needs air.

I debated wether or not to go with on board. I gotta say I love being able to control everything from my seat.

I love saving a buck but the older I get the more I like pushing a button.

I use this system WirelessAIR (Air Lift 72000, al-72000) On Board Air Compressor System | Air Lift Company put I am sure this system would be just as good WirelessONE (Air Lift 25870, al-25870) On Board Air Compressor System | Air Lift Company

I got sick of dragging out a compressor every time I needed to inflate the air bags on the truck, also it maintains a minimum air pressure in the bags so they never go below 5 PSI.

I use a Craftsman hand held compressor that uses the battery packs like the cordless drill, it works awesome for filling bike tires and the air bags on the truck. It will take all day to fill your truck tire but works great for small stuff, I even leave the charger and a spare battery in the trailer. The compressor is inexpensive too!

When you bought the air-bags they didn't show you compressor options?

I ran a hot wire from the battery to the bed and installed a 12V socket. I have a small B&D compressor I carry all the time. Works great.

And that's all? Where did you tap in to the system? Has to be more than a 12V socket.

Are you having any problems with fuse blowing when it is really cold out? I had to use a resettable circuit breaker as the fuse would pop if compressor came on especially this last few weeks. I mounted everything above the spare tire on my F150.

The wireless remote clips to the sunvisor and isn't in the way.

On-the-fly setting changes are easy, since the remote has a pressure gauge.

That's it. I ran a fused 10ga wire from the battery along the wire loom under the truck and into the bed. I bolted a 12v all weather outlet inside the bed and grounded it to the frame. All there is to it. makes it easy to air up the bags and the back tires or what ever else you need 12v for. I never tap a circuit on the truck. I ran a call once where a mechanic was wiring lights on a police car. Tapped the wrong wired and fired the airbags. 6 months later he finally got to take the neck brace off.

Hand pump. I don't need much to level, maybe 15psi.
