Just ordered the following for $795 shipped. I'll have $100 in rebates to bring my total down to $695. I actually ordered from AutoAnything on a pricematch.

Air Lift 57396 Company 2011 Ford S-Duty 4wd

Air Lift 72000 WirelessAIR Leveling Compressor Control System

Bestop 75303-15 TrekStep for Ford 00-12 F-250/350/450 Super Duty : Amazon.com : Automotive

It took me a bit of time to track the best prices down, but I saved atleast $400, probably closer to $500.

Will do. I've heard of some people having to do a bit of grinding, but nothing major. It seems you can't go wrong with either brand (Firestone or Air Lift), but I couldn't pass on the $100 in rebate from Air Lift.

Thanks. As of right now I would save $125 on the air bags alone over the Firestone's. Just wondering if the $100 savings would be worth my aggravation.

I have attached the instructions and from what I can see, it seems like a pretty straightforward installation. The only drilling I see is if you have an aftermarket fifth wheel hitch, you may have to drill the side plate, and if you are not using onboard air, you will have to drill for the fill valves. If I'm interpreting the application guide correctly, it's saying that this is a no-drilling kit. I think they made some changes at the end of 2011 that may have addressed the bit of grinding issue.

No drilling for the filler if you take out the license plate screw and put in place the fill valve, that's what I did, if my compressor craps out I can still fill the bags

I am having a PullRite 5th hitch installed on a RAM 2500 2012. They say it will not go on with my AirLift installed. I put them in and they were easy to do. I have not seen the frame mount pieces for the 5th but I assume they come over the frame, drop down and will interfere with the top of the AirLift mount (which takes the place of the bump stop but sticks out about 3" from the frame). So as of now they will remove the AirLift, install the hitch then I will pick the truck, remove the hitch saddle pieces and remove enough of the excess hitch saddle to fit the AirLift. I am sure it will not be affecting the hitch strength as it is only a small amount of material and has nothing to do with the bolt hole area where all the strength of the hitch is on the frame. Anyone else have this problem?

I have a 2012 F250 4x4 6.7L diesel and have been having a hard time confirming an air bag fit for my truck.

The issue is the "5th wheel prep package" from Ford which is a factory-installed under bed rail system that accepts a factory hitch or Reese Elite series hitch.

I've heard that Air Lift won't fit and there's mixed opinions about Firestones. I do want air bags so I can adjust the height and ride quality, etc.

Has anybody installed bags on a late model super duty with the factory "5th wheel prep package"?

Go over to the FTE site 6.7L Power Stroke Diesel - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums There are lots of guys running air bags on their rigs. Not sure what you mean about the Firestone's 'mixed opinion' though. I have a '10 F350 DRW with a B&W under bed hitch and everything went in without a problem. The air bags with the on board air is the best mod I've done to the dually.

Thanks - I'll check the FTE forum next.
By "mixed opinion" I meant that some say they will fit and others say they won't. I contacted Firestone via website/customer support with the same question and have never received a reply...
So now I'm getting more serious about it.
