Heck I didn't even know that was the actual name of the trans. Thought he misspelled 'asian'. Never mind. I got issues, lol.

To all
According to my research and VIN searching the truck's been on the lot for one year as of this month. Actually one year and 1 day.
The fluids age is a good point that I will follow up on.
Sorry Spock - not divulging the source. yes, I think I got a good deal. Sure, I could have maybe gotten an 18, or even a 19, but not at $47,5 with these options.
chaps. yes, I've been researching for several years, weights and pin weights. Im in the camp of not exceeding RAWR, which is 7,000. Curb weight is just under 3K rear axle, so I've got enough room for the type of 5er Im looking at. With a pin weight of 3K (your 5er), I'd still have 1K in reserve, but yes I would be at or slightly above the GVWR, but lets not turn this into a weight police thread.
Yes it comes with full factory warranty.
Not my first rodeo purchasing a vehicle, but Im expecting this to be my last truck, good lord willing and the creek don't rise.

FYI In the world of Ford Superduty trucks, about the very best you can do off of window sticker would be right at 10%. Since you are buying an untitled '17 with no miles on it (got to wonder why) then I would take average price of '17 for sale and give that one a bit more due to it being new. Does it ALSO come with a new warranty???
Here are several 17's for sale and the price really varies...

I've got the window sticker, and I got the build sheet from the FCA website.

Someone said 20% off. Unless I figured wrong. 62000.00 minuis 20%= 49600.00? I'd say 47000 pretty good price.

You would be the first, original owner of that truck putting all of the miles on it.
A used truck would be a lower price because some other guy had the luxury of using the warranty and racking up the first 20k miles on it.

The minute you drive off, it loses 2 years worth of depreciation. If you tried to trade it in, you would get the 2 year old trade in or KBB value.
Check the current value of the same truck on Kelly Blue Book and see what it's actual Cash Value is.
I bought a 2018 truck at the first of the year. Traded it in on a bigger one this month and the value was calculated as last years model because the 2019's are out.
Traded my wife's 2017 bought in Jan 18 and they dropped it 2 model years.
If thy don't want to sell it at a price you are comfortable with, keep looking. As others have said, someone will come along and pay their price.

If you read the entire 9 page thread, he bought the truck...
We now have moved on to the point of needing proof of said truck...

kbb knows all
I checked kbb.com with some assumptions and came up with about what they are asking. I didn’t think so, but it does appear that you are being unreasonable.

Yeah, I ended up at $47,500 plus tax. I think I got a good deal.
What REALLY blew me away is what I sold my 2014 Ram 2500 (diesel, 4wd, Bighorn) for. I paid $37,000 plus tax for it in 2016. I did the KBB Instant Offer, and a local dealership gave me $35,500 for it!
So, 2.5 years of use (Feb 2016 to Oct 2018) for $1500 plus tax. Not a bad deal at all.

That’s awesome. I paid $42k for my 2012 and I hope I’m at least close to $25k when I trade it for the new 2020 3500s when they come out.
Congratulations on the great deal and the new truck.

The idea that online instant offers and dealershps purchasing private vehicles is pretty astonishing as a whole.
Recently, selling my '11 F150 Ecoboost with 72k miles, I put it on Craigslist and a local, big dealer offered me $1k less than my asking price (but still above what I expected to get). Sold it to them the next day.
Although I didn't make the asking price, the speed of the sale made it financially better.
1. I didn't have to make my next payment for $428.
2. I didn't have to license the next month for $350.
3. I was able to cash in my extended warranty for another $925.
In the end, I pocketed more than my asking price and was able to apply it directly to the newer truck.
While some of these new vehicles sit on the lot for up to a year or so, there is a strong sellers' market in the used, but good shape, arena.

Biggest mistake I ever made was trading iny 2004 dually 5.9 Cummins for the POS 6.7 Cummins in my 2017 2500...the dealer discounted the truck $15k to get me to bite..5 recalls included a $2800 catalytic converter..big well documented pissing match between FCA and Cummins as to who will foot the $200 million recall cost...the reason the dealers are discounting the 6.7 is becuase the new 6.7 sucks so bad....try and find a good used 5.9...chamces are you will not that's why they are difficult to find and very expensive

Doesn't bother me
To each his own.
Last time I checked, the only person I had to please, beside myself, was the wife... and she's happy.
Here's pics/proof... at dealership in South Carolina 8 hour day (round trip), but worth it I believe.
